Meet Our Pastor

     Pastor Michael Weiss was raised the son of a Pastor in Wisconsin. Growing up in a pastor's home gave him the opportunity to see the ministry first-hand, and on a daily basis. He was saved early in life, and a year later was called of God to be a preacher of the Gospel. He attended Bible College at Oklahoma Baptist College in Oklahoma City where he met his wife Rebecca. They both graduated in 2001, and moved to Portales, NM where he pastored the Liberty Baptist Church for 3 years. They then helped to start a church in Navojoa, Sonora, MEXICO, serving under the leadership of Missionary Nelson Dorr Jr. It was while serving in Navojoa that God called Pastor Weiss to Nogales.

     Pastor Weiss has a burden to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach them to live whole-heartedly for Christ, and most of all, to glorify God in the Nogales-Rio Rico area of Southern Arizona. He and his wife have three children; Daniel, Abigail, and Caleb.
